Mission
It is our mission to support, empower and advocate for women who are survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse. We serve as a liaison between individuals affected by sexual violence, the justice and medical systems, and community services. We are committed to working towards the prevention of sexual violence.

We depend upon and value the many volunteers who assist in all areas of our organization.

Funders

WSAC would like to acknowledge the support of our government funders: Ministry of Community, Aboriginal, & Women's Services and the Ministry of Public Safety & Solicitor General. Other funding comes from the Provincial Employers Community Services Fund and our own fundraising ventures (mail appeal, phone appeal, Triathlon for Healing and gaming). In addition, WSAC relies upon generous donations from the community to maintain our services. All donations made to the Centre are tax deductible.
